For 36 years, the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant has been safely and reliably managed by 102 block control operators of four units. In less than two years, the first woman, Zuzana Fraňová, who is currently preparing for the job of a nuclear power plant unit control room operator, will join a purely male team.

For the first time in history, a woman – graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – will be the operator of the secondary and perhaps, in the future, the primary circuit. This expands the number of professional professions held by the women currently employed at the Dukovany power plant to number 134.
