Bachelor Thesis Competition "8 from BUT" has two winners this year. Tomáš Vítek from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering focused on modeling and analysis of the response of auxetic materials to mechanical loads.

Another winner is Denisa Hývlová represented the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication. Her bachelor's thesis described the automatic detection of microcalcifications in mammographic images.
