We are proud of our recent graduates who managed to successfully complete their studies despite considerable obstacles caused by the coronavirus epidemic. More than seven hundred new academic degrees were awarded during the July graduation ceremony in the newly renovated Faculty Auditorium.
The ranks of our graduates were expanded by 402 bachelors and 465 engineers. We had the opportunity to meet most of them during the academic ceremony.
The graduation ceremony took place at the usual time and place after a two-year hiatus caused by anti-epidemic measures and the reconstruction of the Faculty Auditorium. Parents, friends and acquaintances filled the beautiful grounds of the Q auditorium during the three days in July. There was no lack of taking stock, thanking, tears of emotion and hugs.
We also witnessed the awarding of special prizes to the authors of the best final papers. They received the Rector's Prize, Dean's Prize and the Industrial Enterprise Prize. (We wrote about the CPP awards in the article Industrial partners awarded the best bachelors and engineers.)
Congratulations to all our graduates! We will be seeing most of the BAs and BSs again starting in September as they continue their goal of achieving an engineering degree.
Graduates of the continuing master's program are usually already entering the job market. At FME, they received an engineering education on which they will build their careers. We wish them the best of luck and success in their professional and personal lives! Thank you for choosing to study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Brno University of Technology. We will be happy to keep in touch, e.g. through the Alumni portal. We look forward to further cooperation!
