The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering joined the Science Festival, which took place from Friday 9 September to Sunday 11 September at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

The Faculty was represented at the event by students from the TU Brno Racing team, who brought along a driving simulator. The opportunity to try piloting a real formula car was one of the many attractions that drew 10,000 curious visitors to the event.
