The Josef, Marie and Zdeňka Hlávka Foundation awarded prizes for talented students up to 33 years of age and the Josef Hlávka Medal again this year. This year's prizes, together with a financial reward, were also awarded to six students from the Brno University of Technology, among them Tomáš Janoušek, a master's student of the Applied Computer Science and Control.
Tomáš Janoušek was awarded by the Hlávka Foundation for his excellent academic results and outstanding bachelor thesis, in which he solved the design and implementation of a small low-cost robot based on the industrial concept SCARA. The solution won the first prize in the Student Creative and Professional Activity Competition, the Industrial Enterprise Award and the robot was also part of the BUT exhibition at the International Engineering Fair in Brno.
