Learning outcomes of the course unit
1. Individual analyses of various technological tasks in the field of chip machining.
2. Ability to select the optimal method of workpiece clamping
3. Proposal of the optimal clamping device
4. Calculations of the necessary clamping forces
5. Clamping device design
Prerequisites
1. Knowledge of the basic methods of machining.
2. Knowledge of the basic types of machine tools.
3. Knowledge of the design of machine parts and nodes.
4. Knowledge of 3D model creation.
5. Knowledge of the basic calculation methods, ability to use calculation software.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course will include the following teaching methods:
1. Verbal explanation of the topic
2. Presentation of the known methods of workpiece clamping and the basic clamping devices
3. Technical discussion on the assigned projects
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Prezentation of the interim results of the project solution and its defence in the form of a discussion between the lecturer and the students.

Cílem předmětu je, aby se studenti naučili samostatně konstruovat přípravky učené k upínání obrobků.
