Aviation Law and Regulations II

Definitions and performances, types of airports, notation of airports, airport data, physical characteristics of airports, limitations and removal of obstructions, visual navigation means, visual means for obstruction marking, visual means for marking areas used limitedly, airport facilities, emergency and other services, ecology, emission, noise, terminals and dispatch.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
Gaining knowledge of notation and categorization of airports and obstructions, setting of airport data, recognizing of visual navigation means, setting of emergency aircraft category.
Prerequisites
No special requirements.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Conditions for obtaining the credit: the test form
Aims
Give information of the content L14, airport definitions, verification of the theoretical konowledge and obtain of the practical knowledge by airport excursion.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
If the conditions for obtaining the credit are not fulfilled, the teacher may (in justifiable cases) state compensatory conditions.
