Diploma Seminar (M-MTI)
FSI-WD6 Acad. year: 2019/2020 Summer semester
This course should help students to elaborate and to present their diploma projects at a required level. Students are introduced to the content and formal thesis. They are introduced with the ethics of scientific work and the ethics of writing skills. They are also familiar with the way the defense of the thesis. Each student presents the results of their search activities and the content of their own diploma project.

Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students obtain practical knowledges and skills to solve particular technical problems and to elaborate technical reports.
Prerequisites
During the seminar are utilised all knowledges from passed courses.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is taught through exercises which are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
The credit condition is attendance at lessons and delivering a presentation on the subject specifying by the head of diploma project.
Aims
The aim of this course is to strengthen student ability of individual work in the field of theory and at performing particular experiments. Consultations will be given by referee of the course.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Lessons are obligate, attendance is controled. Nonparticipation will be replaced particulary.
