Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will gain the basic knowledge and experience of function and construction of aircraft onboard systems. The knowledge is necessary for aircraft designing, service and maintenance.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics. Fundamentals of Electrical engineering.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures. Teaching is supplemented by practical individual and team work.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The course-unit credit requirements: The attendance at exercises is compulsory (80% at the minimum). The exam is written or oral.

Aims

Students will learn principles and technologies of the aircraft onboard systems.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The attendance at seminars is compulsory (80% at the minimum). The absence (in justifiable cases) can be compensated by personal consultation with the lecturer and working out individually assignments. Individual assignments must be finished and handed in during the course-unit credit week at the latest.
