Students will revise grammar and vocabulary for everyday communication at the A2-B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Course is intended for students who need to revise secondary school English during their studies in compulsory courses or before the General English Exam.

Language instruction as an extension of basic professional curriculum.

Course-unit credit is conditioned by active work in the course by meeting specific requirements of the teacher.

The aim of the course is to revise secondary school English and help students feel more confident in compulsory courses.

Students' performance in the course is systematically checked by the teacher.

26 hours, compulsory

– revision of verb tenses, auxiliary verbs and word order in questions
- present simple and adverbs of frequency, present continuous
- relative clauses with who/which/that
- past simple – regular and irregular verbs, questions and negatives
- questions with and without auxiliaries
- past continuous versus past simple
- the future – going to, present continuous
- the future – will/won’t
- modal verbs, must versus have to, mustn’t versus don’t have to
- verb patterns – infinitive versus -ing form, infinitive of purpose
