Learning outcomes of the course unit
The student obtains information on the system approach to realization of the bachelor project, its content-bearing, structural and formal aspects. The way of bachelor project presentation.
Prerequisites
Contents of the course results from the bachelor thesis assignment.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Supervised student's work on bachelor's thesis.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Presentation of the bachelor work in the written form. The study will be controlled by checking the work on bachelor theses.
There is no exam, the course-unit credits will be awarded on condition of the success of student's work on their bachelor theses.
Aims
Goals of the course: Students will proceed in preparing their bachelor theses so that they could be finished in the semester. The study in this course should help the students to elaborate and to present their bachelor projects at a high professional level. They are introduced to the methodology and technology of scientific research, to the realization of literature retrievals, to the content-bearing and formal requirements for a bachelor project. Principal ethical features of scientific work and of oral and written presentations are overviewed. Students are warned away from substantial content-bearing mistakes which frequently occur in bachelor projects. The way of how presenting a bachelor project is shown. The title and contents of everybody's own bachelor project are consulted with each of the students.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Participation in all exercises is required. In justified cases absence may be compensated for via special homework.
