Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The exam takes an oral form. In its first part, the student is required to complete a set of tasks testing their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary at B2 level and explain their answers. Then the candidate will be asked to talk spontaneously about a topic which they have not prepared beforehand. The topic of the conversation will be related to a particular aspect of university life and the candidate shall be able to engage in conversation spontaneously without prior preparation, with sufficient accuracy and range of grammar and vocabulary, fluency, and interaction. The student is required to score at least 50% in both parts of the exam.
