Course detail
Economics and Management
FSI-LEM Acad. year: 2022/2023 Winter semester
The course focuses on non-technical areas that graduates, not only in the energy field, will encounter during their internships. In the course, they will be introduced to the organisation of companies and enterprises, the systems and laws of organisation and, last but not least, they will receive the basic education to cope with teamwork and management positions in which they will quite often find themselves. The second part of the course is a basic insight into economics, which will very briefly highlight the areas that are essential for companies to stay in business. These are mainly in the areas of corporate finance, financial instruments and accounting. The course does not aim to provide a complete training in management and economics (often entire study programmes are not sufficient for this), but rather to be an introduction and signpost for future training.
