Design Methodology

FSI-GM0 Acad. year: 2023/2024 Winter semester

The course extends the knowledge of students in the field of machine building. It makes students familiar with general principles and methodology of designing machines and technological entities with international context or more precisly Czech – Germany context. Great attention is paid to a comparision of terminology unit denotation by technical computation in the Czech Republic and in Germany.

Entry knowledge

The student must know the basics of design and know the German language at least at C2 level.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Part of the exam is the preparation of presentations on given topics and their oral defense.
The attendance at lectures is recommended.

Aims

The aims of the course is get students ready for cooperation in internationals teams. Familirising students with based knowledge in international design terminology a methodology.
Students will extent their knowledge of designing methodology and is prepared to participate in internation czech-germany teams.
