Aircraft On-Board Systems I
FSI-OPZ Acad. year: 2023/2024 Summer semester
Course is focused on building of knowledge in the area of aircraft on-board systems. Attention is given to hydraulic system, pneumatic systems, electric systems, flight control systems, fuel systems, pressurization, heating and air-condition systems, de-icing systems, and fire protection systems.

Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics. Fundamentals of Electrical engineering.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
The course-unit credit requirements: The attendance at exercises is compulsory (80% at the minimum). The exam is written or oral.
The attendance at seminars is compulsory (80% at the minimum). The absence (in justifiable cases) can be compensated by personal consultation with the lecturer and working out individually assignments. Individual assignments must be finished and handed in during the course-unit credit week at the latest.
Aims
Students will learn principles and technologies of the aircraft onboard systems.
Students will gain the basic knowledge and experience of function and construction of aircraft onboard systems. The knowledge is necessary for aircraft designing, service and maintenance.
