Entry knowledge

Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, especially machine parts and mechanisms.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Classified credit is awarded on the basis of class participation and a final exam in elearning demonstrating the required knowledge.

Obligatory participation in lessons. The reasonably missed lessons can only be replaced by an individual agreement with the teacher.

Aims

The aim is to introduce students to the basic concepts of motor vehicles, their design, modeling, testing and production. Including modern trends.
Passing the subject student acquires basic knowledge in the field of automotive engineering. This knowledge is intended for future undergraduate students of the Automotive Engineering or Technology program who need knowledge of the components they produce.
