Bachelor Project (B-SSZ)
FSI-FDS-K Acad. year: 2023/2024 Summer semester
The course deals with the designing project and calculation of machines, or their designing subgroups, with respect to the field in which the student will execute his/her final project.
Coordinator of the course is: Doc. Ing. Miroslav Škopán, CSc. – Institute of Transport Engineering.

Successful completion of the course is conditional on the basic knowledge of technical mechanics, physics and higher mathematics.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
Graded course-unit credit is awarded on condition of having worked out the project in the required scope. The mark reflects active participation in the exercises and the work quality (0 to 25 points), as well as quality of the project (0 to 75 points). Final mark corresponds to the number of reached points and is graded according to the Rules for Studies and Examinations valid at Brno University of Technology.
Attendance at seminars is obligatory and checked by the teacher. Absence may be in justified cases compensated for by the agreement with the course supervisor.
Aims
The aim of the course is to prove students’ ability to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to the particular technical task related to the topic of the diploma thesis.
Students will master the skills necessary for working out a complete technical documentation of a machine, or constructional part.
