Test Code for Machine Tools

FSI-GTS-K Acad. year: 2023/2024 Winter semester

Content of the course is a theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of measurement of geometric accuracy of machine tools. The course will be used in measuring instruments type Ballbar-Renishaw, laser interferometer-Renishaw, Laser Tracer – Etalon, etc.

Language of instruction

Czech

Number of ECTS credits

4

Entry knowledge

Basic knowledge of the structure of machine tools and knowledge in the field of metrology, mathematics and physics.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The course is taught through lectures and consultations. The exercise is completed by the credit where credit is subject to submission protocols with the measurements, with a total possible number of 20bodů. The test consists of a written test, and this test is 80 points. The final evaluation of the course is done by adding the points of the tutorial and examination and is given according to the ECTS scale.
Lesson is monitored in terms of participation exercises (requires 100% participation).

Aims

The aim of the course is to introduce the methods of measurement of machine according to applicable standards ISO 230-XX (VDI DGQ 3441). Students will gain an overview of the current issue of measurement of machine tools in the Czech Republic and the world.
The output of the theoretical knowledge of geometric accuracy measurement machine tool according to applicable standards ISO 230-2, ISO 230-4, ISO 230-6, VDI/DGQ 3441 and the implementation of measurement with the measuring devices.
