The content of the course is to elaborate a search, to elaborate documents and to carry out project designs and construction drawings according to individual assignment.

Entry knowledge

Knowledge of design of turbines, boilers, combustion, emissions, thermomechanics, hydromechanics, power engineering.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Graded course-unit credit requirements: continuous check of tasks, external consultations.
Submission of technical report prepared on prescribed forms with requisites required by EI.
Controlled participation in lessons: Attendance at selected exercises is possible.

Aims

Emphasis is placed on independent work using literature, computer technology and external consultations. The aim is to prepare for independent activity in practice. The student works closely with the supervisor or the supervisor of the diploma thesis.
The final project enables students to gain knowledge and experience with the independent processing of a given task in the field of thermal energy in the form of a technical report. It serves as a preparation for diploma work.

1 – familiarization with the process of teaching and elaboration of the year project, specification of the project
2.-11.- Individual elaboration of the project according to the assignment, possible consultations in companies that have commissioned the projects, visits to professional conferences, fairs and seminars on the given issue, data collection from energy operations
12 – submission of the processed project
