Introduction to Optomechanics

Introduction to Design of Scientific Instruments and CADS gives a basic overview of instruments and mechanisms used in surface science and optics. Students are introduced in to the computer design of optical systems particularly.

Student designs optical system. A short report will be classified.
Final report is controlled.

Aims

The goal of the the subject is to provide students an overview of construction of devices used in physics of surfaces and optics.
Students will learn the function and design of the basic instruments and also the programs used in their design.
