Course detail
Power Systems Automation
FSI-VAS-K Acad. year: 2024/2025 Summer semester
The course familiarises students with process equipment of heat power plants, nuclear power plants, water power plants, and with their control concepts. Primary and secondary control of electric power system and cooperation principle of many sources joined in one system are explained too. Attention is drawn to automation of small power sources of electric and thermal energy, including alternative sources.
