ANNEX6 and related definitions. Air service, requirements of EU-OPS. (NAŘÍZENÍ KOMISE (ES) č. 859/2008)General requirements and specific requirements on air service company by EU-OPS.(NAŘÍZENÍ KOMISE (ES) č. 859/2008) Air traffic at complicated meteorological conditions, required communication and navigation equipment. Long range flights and limitations given by an airliner. MMEL and MEL functions. Airliner`s condition for icing and de-icing . Danger of birds. Noise level decreasing. Fire on board. Microburst and turbulence behind aircraft in the wake. Safety and protection against terrorists. Transport of dangerous goods. Runway contamination.

Entry knowledge

Navigation, Air Law and Regulation, Flying Rules and Air Traffic.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Conditions for obtaining the course-unit credit: participation in the course (80% at the minimum). The examination is written. Evaluation fulfils the FME BUT rules.
Lectures are compulsory and the attendance (80% at the minimum) is checked and recorded. The absence (in justifiable cases) must be compensated individually.

Aims

The goal is to familiarize students with problems and requirements of ANNEX6 and JAR-OPS. Students will be prepared for practical use of operation procedures in business air transport and for passing the ATPL(A) exam at CAA.
Students will obtain knowledge of JAR OPS and Annex 6 rules, which is essential for the position of an office commercial pilot in business air transport.

5. Transatlantic and polar flight.
6. De-icing of airplanes, prevention of icing.
7. Hazard and avoidance of bird strike.
8. Noise reduction. Fire/smoke.
9. Decompression of pressure cabin.
10. Wake vortex. Wind cut, microburst.
11. Emergency and safety landings.
12. Security and prevention of unlawful acts.
13. Transport of dangerous goods. Contaminate runways.
