Course detail

Combustion and Air Protection Technology

FSI-LTS Acad. year: 2025/2026 Summer semester

The course focuses on thermal energy equipment, which still forms the basic pillar of our energy sector. During the course we will virtually walk through a power generation plant from the fuel to the chimney and get acquainted with the specifics of individual parts of this complex technology. Information on the operation and possible complications and malfunctions of such equipment will also be provided. An integral part of this is an introduction to technologies that clean flue gases from unwanted emissions.
