The Department of Process Engineering FME BUT focuses on the energy utilization of second and third-generation biofuels. Specifically, this includes areas such as the thermal utilization of waste biomass, sewage sludge, solid and liquid products from algae cultivation, and co-combustion of solid alternative fuels.

Facilities
