Original abstract
This article deals with the benefits of PVD coatings ((Al,Ti)N; (Al,Ti,Cr)N and nanocomposite coating nACo®) applied to HSS three edges end milling cutters (producer ZPS – Frezovaci nastroje, Zlin, CZ). The coatings were synthesized by a cathodic-arc deposition process (producer Liss, Roznov pod Radhostem, CZ). Machining was carried out on the vertical milling machine FB 32V with using process liquid. Set up cutting conditions were con-stant throughout the machining. The aim of this experiment was to compare coated and uncoated HSS end milling cutters and find out the benefits of three kinds of PVD coatings. The monitored parameters were force loading and flank wear. Piezoeletrical dynamometer Kistler 9257B was used for measuring force loading and workshop opti-cal microscope was used for measuring flank wear (criterion VB). The construction steel C45E (1.1191; CSN 41 2050) was used as workpiece material. Best results were achieved by tool with PVD coating (Al,Ti,Cr)N.

Tento článek se zabývá přínosy PVD povlaků ((Al,Ti)N; (Al,Ti,Cr)N a nanokompozitního povlaku nACo®) pro HSS tříbřité stopkové frézy (výrobce ZPS-Frézovací nástroje, Zlín, CZ). Povlaky byly naneseny katodickým obloukovým procesem (výrobce Liss, Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, CZ). Obrábění bylo provedeno na vertikální frézka FB 32V s využitím procesní kapaliny. Nastavení řezné podmínky byly konstantní po celou dobu obrábění. Cílem tohoto experimentu bylo porovnat povlakované a nepovlakované HSS frézy a zjistit výhody nanesených PVD povlaků. Sledovanými parametry bylo sílové zatížení a opotřebení břitu. Piezoelektrický dynamometr Kistler 9257B byl použit pro měření silového zatížení a dílenský optický mikroskop byl použit k měření hřbetního opotřebení (kritérium VB). Jako materiál obrobku byla zvolena konstrukční ocel C45E (1.1191; ČSN 41 2050). Nejlepších výsledků bylo dosažano nástrojem s PVD povlakem (Al,Ti,Cr) N.
