Original abstract
The main scope of the presentation will be description the cavitating flow within the Venturi tube with upstream swirl generator. The presence of the swirl leads to the pressure drop in the region of the vortex core and therefore to the earlier occurrence of the cavitation. Beside that the cavitation pattern is highly affected in the entire range of cavitation regimes by the presence of the vortex core.
