Original abstract
The paper deals with the issue of considerable scattering of the KV-46 values of laboratory forgings of A694 F60 steel, based on fractographic and metallographic analyses supplemented to a limited extent with the EBSD method. The influence of the size of austenite grains, the cleavage facets and the "effective grain size" on KV-46 values were studied in detail.

V příspěvku je řešena problematika značného rozptylu hodnot KV-46 laboratorních výkovku z oceli A694 F60, a to na podkladě fraktografických a metalografických rozborů, doplněných v omezeném rozsahu o metodu EBSD. Detailně byl studován vliv velikosti původních austenitických zrn, štěpných fazet a tzv. „effective grain size“ na hodnoty KV-46.
