Original abstract
Report presents description and results of CFD computation within one channel of water valve cage. Computations were carried out for one set of boundary conditions (velocity-pressure) and two geometries. Results show that the pressure drop is far below the value assumed by the customer and furthermore that new design achieves only half of the pressure reduction compared to the original one.
Czech abstract
Zpráva předkládá průběh a výsledky CFD výpočtu proudění v kanálech klece vodního ventilu. Byly provedeny výpočty pro jednu sadu okrajových podmínek (rychlost-tlak) a dvě geometrie. Výsledky ukazují, že dosažená tlaková ztráta je hluboce pod odhadovanou hodnotou a dále, že nový design dosahuje pouze poloviční hodnoty tlakové ztráty proti designu původnímu.
