Original abstract

Transverse mode instabilities in high-power fiber amplifiers are studied by complementary coupled-mode models formulated in the time and frequency domain. Good agreement on threshold power and oscillation spectra indicates the validity of the underlying assumptions for both models.

Czech abstract

Zkoumáme nestability příčných modů ve vláknových zesilovačích s vysokým výkonem pomocí dvou doplňujících se metod založených na teorii vázaných modů ve frekvenční a časové oblasti. Obě metody souhlasí v předpovědi týkající se prahové hodnoty nestability.
