Original abstract
Causes of a transversal cracks in a steel slab. The causes of cross cracking have been explained by means of a thermokinetic calculation of a slab transient temperature field. The chemical microheterogeneity of the steel matrix and the surface of cracking have been estimated.

Příčiny vzniku příčných trhlin v ocelových bramách. Příčiny vzniku jsou vysvětlovány termokinetickým výpočtem nestacionárního teplotního pole bramy. Byla zjišťována chemická mikroheterogenita vzorku oceli a povrchu trhliny.
English abstract
Causes of a transversal cracks in a steel slab. The causes of cross cracking have been explained by means of a thermokinetic calculation of a slab transient temperature field. The chemical microheterogeneity of the steel matrix and the surface of cracking have been estimated.
