Original abstract
The contribution deals with the design of the technology for the production of flanges by die forging, the so-called technological process of hot forming of the material. With the assumption that the flange is subjected to strength stress and needs to increase its mechanical properties and service life, which is a function of higher primary fatigue strength, the contribution applies the processes of volumetric forming technologies with greater deformation under heat, the so-called die forging in a die. The change in shape takes place under the action of high forging force in the die. The contribution provides information about the given forging technology with a focus on forging in progressive dies with a vertical forging press.
