Original abstract
In computer graphics, data are stored as coordinates of points that, as in the traditional Euclid geometry, are modelled as dimensionless objects. The displaying surface of an output device cannot display or read "dimensionless points". For this reason, instead of point, the word "pixel" is used. In mathematical modelling, pixels in the "logical" sense have to be considered as opposed to the "physical" sense. Applications are demonstrated

V počítačové grafice jsou data uložena jako souřadnice bodů, které jsou v souladu s tradiční Euklidovskou geometrií modelovány jako bezrozměrné objekty. Ty však výstupní zařízení počítače nedokáže zobrazit. Z těchto důlvodů je používán pojem pixel, který je matematicky modelovám jako pixel fyzický a logický. V článku jsou demonstrovány některé aplikace.
