Original abstract

The method of the spatial filtering an image is applied to the detection of optical inhomogeneities in glass jewellery products. The method is combined with recording the image of the studied objects by means of CCD camera, digitising and computer processing this image. That method allows us to evaluate the structure and the concentration of the inhomogeneities sensitively, automatically and objectively. Selected results are illustrated.
