Original abstract
Tensile test methodology for ceramics foam has been developed and irst indings are described. The tested material was the commercially available alumina based ceramic foam. Two cell sizes were included into the study, namely 10 and 60 PPI. The test procedure critically depends on the fixation of the ceramic foam into aluminium pots by a suitable adhesive. Two specimen geometries with cross-section 10 * 10 and 15 * 15 mm were tested and results statistically analysed. Fractographic observations enabled to explain specimen behaviour during tensile loading.

Byla vyvinuta metodologie tahových zkoušek keramických pěn a popsány první výsledky získané touto metodou. K testům byl použit komerční materiál na bázi korundu. Testovány byly dvě velikosti pórů, a to 10 a 60 PPI. Zkušební procedura silně závisí na fixaci keramické pěny do hliníkových kalíšků pomocí vhodného lepidla. Byly testovány dvě geometie příčného průřezu 10 x 10 a 15 x 15 mm, výsledky byly hodnoceny pomocí statistických metod. Analýzy byly doplněny fraktografickou analýzou.
