Original abstract
Heavy metals such as zinc or copper are essential for many enzymes. Concentration of such heavy metals is well detectable in both body liquids and tissues. Levels of some of them are monitored and their alterations can be used as diagnostic marker. Nevertheless spatial distribution of the essential metals in animals' tissues is still not clear. The aim this work is to utilize laser induced breakdown spectroscopy for detection of copper and zinc in healthy and tumour tissues of minipigs.
