Original abstract

The topic of this paper is theoretical consideration on utilization of light scattering for measurement of surface roughness. We use correlation of laser speckle fields generated by light of two different wavelengths, which illuminates investigated randomly rough surface. We present the solution of the problem within the framework of the scalar Kirchhoff theory of wave scattering from random surfaces.
