Chemistry
FSI-1CH Acad. year: 2019/2020 Winter semester
The aim of the course is focused on increasing the knowladge of general, physical, inorganical and organical chemistry for understanding connection between structure and character of matters together with groung of the theory of chemical thermodynamics, reaction kinetics and electrochemistry, important chemical productions and raw material treatment.

Basic knowledge of general, inorganic and organic chemistry for consequent training in material science and other scientific disciplines.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of chemistry in the range of secondary technical school.

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Writing examination.
Aims
Basic knowledge in the field of chemical science for its utilization and development in material science, process engineering and other science specializations.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Attendance at lectures is recommended.
