30 November 2022 – Brno Observatory and Planetarium

The aim of the event is to present the potential of Czech universities in the area of space education and research. The event in the format of roundtable brings together representatives of universities, guests from ESA, as well as companies, in particular those associated in the Brno Space Cluster to talk about challenges and roles of the university education and research to support the sustainable growth, boosting job creation and speeding up a mass-market uptake in the space sector through the development of knowledge and preparation of highly educated professionals for space technology and space science.

The discussion will have a roundtable format with distinguished scientists and researchers who are making a significant footprint in the field of space aplication.

Venue, registration and programme

The event will take place on 30 November from 14.00–21.00 at the Brno Observatory and Planetarium (Kraví hora 974/1, 602 00 Brno) and will be followed by a cocktail reception.

What's new

We announce a change in the program: the Keynote speaker will be Norbert Werner from the Department of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics, Masaryk University. Klaus Schilling from Universität Würzburg will speak later on in the programme.
